FailSafe overfill prevention in applications with functional safety up to SIL3 with one device. The Liquiphant FTL80 vibronic point level switch can be used in hazardous areas, has multiple international approvals, features fail-safe and overflow protection, and achieves SIL3 functional safety. It measures reliably and is unaffected by changes in medium properties, medium flow, turbulence, bubbles, foam, vibration and buildup.

Verification test: verification test interval 12 years, one-key test of the entire loop

Permanent self-monitoring/internal redundancy

4-20 mA interface (per NAMUR NE 06/NE 43): easy integration via a two-channel switching unit (safety contacts) output and latching function (Nivotester FailSafe FTL825), or direct integration with a safety PLC

No calibration required: fast and economical device startup

No mechanical moving parts, no maintenance, no wear and a long service life.

Monitors the fork for damage, corrosion, buildup and mechanical blockage
