The FTL375P switching unit is used for limit detection in liquid tanks and solid silos and can be used in hazardous areas. It is also suitable for liquid detection in pipes, for dry-run protection of pumps, and for overfill protection of water-endangering flammable or non-flammable liquids. Up to three measuring instruments can be connected; it is used for two-point control and limit detection. When used with Liquiphant with the FEL57 electronic insert, functional safety up to SIL3 in accordance with IEC 61508 is achieved.

Ex ia intrinsically safe signal circuit allows the measuring instruments to be used in hazardous areas
Using the online monitoring function, functional safety up to SIL2 is achieved; simple self-test at the push of a button in accordance with WHG/SIL
