The Memosens CCS55E is a high-precision digital free bromine sensor. The sensor can be installed in seawater desalination plants, process water or circulating cooling water systems, swimming pools and fish farms to monitor the disinfection effect. The sensor requires little maintenance, responds quickly and ensures efficient process control. It uses advanced Memosens 2.0 digital technology, guaranteeing high data integrity and simple operation.
Advantages
Safe seawater disinfection: chlorine disinfectants in seawater applications form bromine compounds, so monitoring only the chlorine concentration causes measurement errors and affects the disinfection effect.
High measuring point availability: pre-calibrated sensors are plug-and-play and easy to replace. The advanced Memosens 2.0 digital technology effectively shortens the polarization time.
Effective process control: fast response (t90 < 20 seconds), precise display of the process status, allowing the user to take timely measures in response to process changes. The sensor does not work in bromine-free media —— enabling fast determination of the bromine dosage.
Higher process safety: long-term stable output of high-precision measured values, supports continuous process monitoring and flexible adjustment of the disinfectant dosage on demand.
Wide measuring range and versatile applications: from trace free bromine measurement to applications with free bromine concentrations up to 200 mg/l.
Used with Liquiline multiparameter transmitters to simultaneously measure other relevant water analysis parameters such as pH and ORP.
