Field of application
The Commubox FXA291 is an intrinsically safe CDI interface (Endress+Hauser common data interface) for level transmitters that converts signals via the USB port. Field devices communicate with the computer via the CDI, the ToF adapter FXA291 or an adapter cable.
The Commubox FXA291 connects Endress+Hauser field devices to the USB port of a user computer or laptop via the CDI interface (Endress+Hauser common data interface). With Endress+Hauser operating software such as the plant-specific asset management system FieldCare, users can operate and service field devices remotely. USB low-power devices can be powered via the computer USB port.
