Micropilot FMR62 is the first 80GHz radar developed according to the international functional safety directive IEC 61508. For applications in aggressive liquids, FMR62 offers extraordinary advantages with its completely PTFE-filled and flush-mounted antenna. The integrated PEEK antenna allows very small process connections. The FMR62 free space radar offers maximum reliability due to improved algorithms and small beam angle. It also possesses the smart sensor functionality Heartbeat Technology.

The Micropilot FMR62 is the first 80 GHz level radar designed to comply with the international functional safety standard IEC 61508. The fully PTFE-filled, flush-mounted antenna of the FMR62 is particularly suitable for measuring corrosive liquids. The integrated PEEK antenna can be used with process connections of very small diameter. The non-contact FMR62 radar uses an improved algorithm and a small beam angle for maximum reliability. It is also equipped with the intelligent Heartbeat Technology sensor function.

Application areas
The Micropilot FMR62 can measure in free space up to a maximum range of 80 m. With its highly focused beam angle, it is suitable for applications with multiple obstructions inside the vessel.
